Chris Higgins is a former backup guitar/vocal/keyboard player in the punk rock band The Offspring[1] from 1993 to 2005. He provided backing vocals and keyboards for Offspring's albums between Smash and Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. During his 15 years with the band, he performed live with the Offspring on tour, and made an appearance in the music video for "Why Don't You Get a Job?."
Higgins also plays guitar with the band Good Kitty.
As of 2008, he is no longer with The Offspring on the tour but he did backup vocals on Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. It is said that he needs more time with his church and family. He is currently working with Tim Hirota (from the band "Loaf") on a Christian music project. He is also Director of Comtemporary Worship at St. John's Lutheran Church and School in Orange, California.
